Move concierge services in Dallas-Fort Worth
We run the whole move, from packing your old house with intention to a new one that works before the first night.
What does a move concierge actually do?
A moving company moves boxes. A move concierge decides what goes into them, in what order, and where every one of them lands at the other end.
That distinction is worth money. Every box you do not move is transport you do not pay for, and every box labeled for the room it is going to is an hour you do not spend hunting for the kettle.
We edit before packing, pack by destination room rather than origin room, coordinate directly with your movers and cleaners, and set up the rooms that make a house livable on the first night. Beds made, bathrooms stocked, kitchen working.
The move management team behind your relocation
Your move is run by the same team that organizes homes, which matters more than it sounds: the people packing your kitchen are the people who will unpack it, so nothing gets boxed in an order that makes no sense at the other end. Everyone is insured and briefed on your house before they arrive. Ashley Matteson coordinates directly with your movers, builders and cleaners, so you are not the one relaying messages on moving day.

What a move concierge service actually covers
A moving company moves boxes.
A move concierge decides what goes in them, in what order, and where each one lands. We edit the house before packing so you are not paying to transport things you will donate in October. We pack by destination room rather than origin room and label for the new floor plan, which is the single change that saves the most time at the other end. We oversee the load and the unload, and we set up the rooms that make a house livable on night one: beds built and made, bathrooms stocked, kitchen usable. What you release leaves with us before the truck arrives, with a receipt.
Types of relocation and move management we handle
-
Local moves across Dallas-Fort Worth
Park Cities to Prosper, Southlake to Fort Worth, and everything between. Same-day pack and unpack where the distance allows it.
-
Corporate and executive relocation
Coordinated with your employer timeline and relocation package, with documentation for reimbursement.
-
Downsizing moves
The hardest editing there's. We work through decades of accumulation without rushing the decisions that matter.
-
Estate and legacy transitions
Handled slowly and privately, with families who aren't all in agreement and often not all in the state.
-
New build handover
Pantries, closets and mudrooms configured before the furniture lands, while the millwork is still empty.
-
Partial packing support
You handle the books, we handle the kitchen and the closets. The rooms that eat weekends.
What's included
What a move concierge engagement covers, from the pre-move edit through to the rooms that make the new house livable on night one.
- Pre-move edit so you aren't paying to move things you don't want
- Packing that's labeled by destination room, not just by contents
- Move-day oversight and coordination with your moving crew
- Priority unpacking so beds, bathrooms, and the kitchen work on night one
- Full home setup with organizing systems built in from day one
- Box, paper, and debris removal when we're done

When it's time to call a move concierge
Move work is time-boxed by a closing date somebody else picked. These are the moments when calling still changes how the move goes.
- You have a closing date and nothing is packed
- The movers are booked and nobody has decided what is actually going
- You're relocating for work on a timeline you did not choose
- You're about to pay to transport things you already know you don't want
- You'll be unpacking into a house you have barely walked through
Call with a closing date even if nothing is packed. The plan is worth more than the lead time, and the edit before packing is where most of the money is saved.

How a move concierge project runs
Five steps, the same every time, whether it is one closet or a whole house.
Move concierge runs to the same five steps on every relocation, from a Park Cities townhouse to a whole-family move north into Prosper. The order is what keeps a move calm.
We coordinate directly with your movers, cleaners and any trades still finishing work, so you get one point of contact instead of five and never have to relay a message on moving day.
Book a Free Discovery Call-

-
03 Pack with intent

-
04 Move day
We're on site directing where things go so you aren't answering a hundred questions while holding a lamp.
-
05 Setup and unpack
Kitchen, bathrooms, and beds first, then closets and the rest, with organizing systems built in as we go, not added later.

Questions about this service
How far in advance should I book a move?
Four to six weeks ahead, and earlier during the summer. Summer is peak moving season in North Texas and the calendar fills first for June through August closings.
Do you also do the physical move?
We don't drive the truck. We handle the planning, packing, on-site coordination, unpacking, and setup, and we work alongside whichever moving company you hire.
Can you unpack a house we already moved into?
Yes, and it's one of our most requested services. If you've been staring at stacked boxes in the guest room since you closed, that's exactly the job.
How much does a project cost?
Our rate starts at $160 per hour and it is published on the pricing page rather than quoted privately. You get a written hour range after the walkthrough, before anything is booked. Organizing products are billed separately at cost.
Do I need to be there the whole time?
No. We need you for decisions on anything personal or sentimental, and reachable by text for judgment calls. Most clients are there for the first hour and the walkthrough at the end, and working or out for the rest of it.
What should I do before you arrive?
Nothing. Do not clean, do not pre-sort, and do not buy bins. Seeing how the space actually works on an ordinary day is the only way to build a system that holds, and a tidied room hides the problem we were called about.
Do you take the donations away?
Yes, the same day, loaded into our vehicles with a receipt back to you. Anything worth selling is set aside separately so you can decide. Bags waiting in a garage for a trip that never happens is how a room refills.
Will it still be organized in six months?
That is what the labels and the closing walkthrough are for. Systems are built around how the household already behaves rather than an ideal version of it, and labeled clearly enough that everyone can follow them. If life changes, a Home Refresh visit resets it instead of starting over.
