Home organizing products we actually use

These are the containment products we reach for on real client projects, with honest notes on when each is worth buying, and when working with what you already own is the better call.

  • Clear stackable bins

Our default for pantries where seeing the level left is the point. Look for square footprints rather than tapered ones. Tapered bins waste the shelf depth behind them.

  • Uniform hangers

The single cheapest change with the biggest visual payoff in a closet. Velvet slimline for volume, wood for weight. Mixing types is what makes a closet read as chaotic even when it’s tidy.

  • Drawer dividers

Adjustable spring-loaded dividers beat fixed inserts, because they can be set to the actual folded width of your clothes rather than a manufacturer’s guess.

  • Glass spice jars

Uniform jars with lids that take a label. Decant spices and dry goods only where turnover is high enough to justify the refilling work.

  • Wicker and fabric baskets

For the things that don’t need to be seen. Hiding everything is as much of a mistake as decanting everything. You want a mix.

  • Label makers and labels

A label is for the person who didn’t build the system. Printed labels outlast handwriting and stop the system degrading the first time someone else unloads the groceries.

A word before you buy organizing products

The most expensive organizing mistake is buying containment before editing. Product bought to fit the shelf rather than to fit what you’re keeping is product you’ll return, or worse, keep and work around. Sort first, measure second, buy third. In that order, every time.

If you would rather not think about any of this, product sourcing is included in our projects. We size and install everything, billed separately at cost, and we confirm the spend with you before purchasing. See pricing for detail.

I couldn't be more pleased. With the obvious stresses of moving, I was happy to walk upstairs to my new home with pride after their strong organizational skills came to fruition. Very thankful for the time, energy and effort that went into my home.

Best decision and investment ever! It was difficult to love my house anymore because of our clutter and it was embarrassing, but they helped us fall in love with our house again. They worked hard and fast on something that would have taken us a year. They always kept open communication and were judgement free.

Ashley and Jayley did an amazing job of sorting through and organizing my closet, bathroom shelves and storage under the bathroom sink. We filled 2 trash bags! Now it's so easy to find everything, and it has made my morning routine a pleasure! I will definitely ask them to come back to help with other areas of the house. :)
